Python Software Developer – (Wayne, PA ~ REMOTE)

 

We are actively seeking a highly experienced and technical savvy Python Software Developer for a Direct Hire opportunity with a  key client partner in the Financial Services space. We are looking for an experienced software developer with expertise in SQL, Python, React, and relational database management within an AWS environment. The ideal candidate will play a key role in the design, development, and maintenance of our client’s software solutions, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality, performance, and reliability.

Python Software Developer Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients to understand project requirements and design technical solutions.
  • Design, develop, and implement robust and scalable software solutions using SQL, Python, React, and other relevant technologies within an AWS environment.
  • Optimize database queries and performance for internal and client-facing reporting requirements.
  • Conduct thorough testing of software applications to identify and resolve any bugs or issues.
  • Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve our software development processes.

 

Python Software Developer Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, or related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience as a software developer, with a strong background in SQL, Python, and relational database management.
  • Solid understanding of software architecture and development best practices, including testing methodologies and detailed documentation.
  • Experience in AWS solutions, including Lambda, EC2, S3, RDS, SQS, and CloudWatch.
  • Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies is preferred.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
