As a Functional Analyst for the Retail public website, you will play an integral role in ensuring the seamless execution of digital experiences and enabling the underlying technology platforms that support them. As part of a cross-functional, agile team, tasked with the iterative and incremental delivery of client and business value, you will be charged with gathering and defining requirements for user-centered design solutions and translating concepts into technical and business requirements. Working closely with the Product Owner, strategy and design, technology operations, and development, you will document the underlying workflows, processes, and integrations and work to ensure successful delivery.

Core Responsibilities

  • Help translate desired digital user experience into Adobe AEM and Angular requirements to help drive build and implementation
  • Partner with strategy and design to define page and interface interactions and translate them into system requirements
  • Support Product Owner with story writing and defining acceptance criteria
  • Collaborate with front and backend developers to ensure the build of smart, flexible, and usable solutions
  • Research technologies and infrastructure to support implementation specific to the Retail public site
  • Provide QA support to ensure documented requirements for quality control, risks, and dependencies are met
  • Partner with data and measurement analysts for tagging and data needs
  • Support website updates, certification, and compliance needs
  • Systems include AEM, Target, Launch, Jira, Red Oak, and more


  • Work experience as a Functional or Business Analyst or similar digital marketing role
  • Expertise in Jira or other similar issue and task management software
  • Excellent written and oral English communication skills
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • AEM or similar component-based CMS strongly preferred
