The Senior eCommerce Specialist – Campaigns & Promotions will design and execute both

online and offline campaigns and work with the team to execute from start to finish. You will be

involved with supplier campaign programs including page layout, offers, timing and tracking.

This position will also be responsible for bi-weekly reporting to help the team identify

under-performing campaigns and work with the team to implement changes for improvement.

With an in-depth understanding of the industries we serve you will work with the eCommerce

team to align promotional offer design approaches and product categories with digital

profiles/targets and propensity to maximize program returns. Tactically, day-to-day management

may include campaign design and merchandising, A/B testing, campaign performance reviews

and supplier promotion set up in an effort to achieve KPIs. Providing learnings to the eBusiness

Senior eCommerce Specialist – Campaigns & Promotions Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop and schedule marketing and promotional campaigns to be implemented through the digital channel including lead generation, brand, product promotion, and others once the appropriate marketing campaigns have been approved.
  • Proactively manage the competitive landscape and understand promotional dynamics across categories; monitor our direct and indirect competitors working with other members of the pricing & promotions team; advise leadership quarterly with key findings.
  • Execute and manage promotional program tactics (e.g., discounts, vouchers, product level promotions, order level promotions, etc.) that will drive customer traffic, conversions (transactional and non-transactional), baskets, and product category horizontal penetration.
  • Execute promotions that showcase featured product selections based on input provided from the eCommerce Merchandising group and Product Management; that support customer acquisition and activation activities; that exploit niche, regional and/or enterprise opportunities; and that are consistent with overall EBITDA goal targets aligned with other marketing channel strategies.
  • Work with segment leads, regional eBusiness managers and AVPs as appropriate to ensure successful deployment and full field support of niche multi-channel campaigns.
  • Work with the Digital Marketing team on designing and executing win-back programs to desirable lost customers based on calculated customer lifetime value (CLTV).
  • Work with Digital Marketing and Analytics teams on program(s) to reduce customer churn/increase customer retention.

Senior eCommerce Specialist – Campaigns & Promotions Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • 3+ years of experience in online promotion management; other campaign experience desired but not mandatory.
  • Demonstrated ability to contribute to upfront promotional offer design sessions.
  • Understanding of registration, activation, retention and winback strategies as it relates to promotional offer design and execution of programs that align to those strategies.
  • Detail oriented, well organized, and able to multitask in a results oriented business environment.
  • Proficient in Google Suite apps; Adobe Analytics a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.
  • Able to talk, hear, and walk sit: use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or
  • controls; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel or crouch.
  • Specific vision abilities to include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral
  • vision, depth perception and ability to focus objects required.
