Scheduling & Admissions Associate
A world-renowned healthcare organization in the Philadelphia Metro area is seeking a Scheduling & Admissions Associate for a Patient Experience focused role on a contract-to-hire basis. The Scheduling & Admissions Associate assists in maintaining a strong patient / customer focus, supporting the delivery of highest quality care, sharing a passion for patient and customer-centered care, and assisting in meeting or exceeding patient satisfaction and financial and operational targets.
This individual is responsible for the arrival and/or departure activities of patients in the practice, managing and handling patient calls and inquiries, coordinating patient appointments, updating patient insurance/billing information, and performing point of service activities.
Scheduling & Admissions Associate Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required;
2 or 4 year college degree preferred.
2-3 years of medical office experience, or 4 years of customer service experience, required.
Advanced degree (Associates, Bachelors, Masters) may be considered in lieu of experience.
Must successfully complete/pass EPIC training / tests.
Computer knowledge and skills required.
Ability to speak English for a business setting.
Customer-focused communication skills (verbal/written) required.
Critical thinking and multi-tasking skills required.
EMR skills preferred.
