Job Title: Purchasing Coordinator
Location: Newark, DE

Assist in acquisition of equipment, supplies, and services for internal business groups and departments as directed by Purchasing Supervisor.

Job Description:
Frequent and routine contact with employees and external customers (company vendors) in person and by telephone.
Communicate information about specific transactions as well as the responsibilities and roles of the Purchasing Departments and its team.
System maintenance – updating system for new users, setting up their access to various departments to allow for ordering.
Scanning documents and confirm accurate deliveries.
Communicate with vendors via email to gather W-9s and other vendor forms.
Reviews notifications sent to PO Confirmations and Fax orders to be redistributed to appropriate buyer, contract manager or moved to archive bucket.
Manages the Open Order Report to resolve purchase orders in a noncomplete status.
Demonstrates compliance and understanding with departmental policies and procedures.
Communicate with internal business partners and departments for material and supply ordering.
