Licensed Behavioral Health Clinician Needed

Education/Background required:

Masters in social work, counseling, human service field.

Experience in behavioral health required.

Preferred experience two years post masters with LPC /LC SW license or license eligible.

Working knowledge of DSM IV and ASC AM.

BLS Certification Required

Description/Duties:

Conducts psychosocial assessments/reassessments of patients and families relating to social, emotional, cognitive, cultural, developmental and financial capabilities in relationship to their illness and health maintenance needs.

Intervenes effectively and appropriately to ensure effective continuity of care

Assesses clinical and discharge needs and coordinates plan of care and informs patient/ family of

Drives overall compliance with plan of care identifying and eliminating obstacles to the timely progression through the continuum of care

Shift: 1p-9:30p (8 hour shifts)

Evening shift with an every other weekend rotation; 4-10s. On weekends worked, it is Friday/Sat/Sun/Mon 1pm-11pm. The other worked days are every other Tuesday, every Wednesday and every other Thursday.

However, the department is flexible and can do 5-8s with every other weekend and evening hours. There is flexibility with hours; they can do 1pm-9pm, 2pm-10pm, or 3pm-11pm.
