Title: Digital Marketing Specialist/Technologist 

Role Type: Contract (estimated 9 months with potential contract-to-hire) 

Description: Are you are looking for a dynamic position where you can hit the ground running and make an immediate impact?  We are looking for results-oriented Digital Marketing Specialist/Technologist to partner with marketing leadership to provide hands-on, yet strategic, digital marketing expertise to optimize current digital marketing initiatives and work on projects that will build our digital marketing capability, advance maturity, leverage data, and ensure best practices.  

Duties:  

  • Audit stack and digital marketing campaigns, make short term optimization recommendations, and implement those recommendations. 
  • Work with agency partner to build, track, and measure paid media campaigns, including search, display, paid social and retargeting. 
  • Work with marketing team to build, track, and measure digital marketing campaigns across all channels. Implement GA tagging to track campaigns end-to-end. 
  • Analyze and report on campaigns across all channels including paid media, social, email, and website using Google Analytics and platform reporting tools; make recommendations for optimizations. 
  • Play a key hands-on role on project teams addressing email platform selection/migration, website platform migration, Cvent implementation, analytics/tagging plan. 
  • Support development of webpages/templates with design and development partners. 
  • Assist in other marketing projects as required, including but not limited to SEO, data/list management, persona development, journey mapping, tagging/analytics, email marketing, social media. 

Required Skills/Experience: 

  • 5-7 years of digital marketing experience, with strong knowledge and hands-on experience across digital marketing channels, using online marketing tools, and implementing best practices. 
  • Strong proficiency and technical expertise in Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager to analyze campaign performance and making/implementing data driven decisions to improve performance. 
  • Direct hands-on experience executing, running, and managing digital display, Google Ads/SEM, and paid social campaigns in a B2C environment. (B2B not required, but a plus) 
  • Solid experience building, deploying, and analyzing email marketing campaigns, including A/B testing. 
  • Hands-on experience working with design/development partners to create webpages/landing pages to support campaign needs. 
  • Critical thinker and problem-solver 
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency with Excel 
  • Highly creative yet process-driven and relies on data to make decisions 
  • Curiosity, attention to detail, collaboration, and the ability to effectively multi-task  

 Nice to Have Skills/Experience: 

  • Dotdigital, SendGrid, ActiveCampaign, or HubSpot  
  • Managing agency relationships  
  • Experience as a project team member on an email platform and/or website migration 
  • Tableau or other data visualization tool 
  • Knowledge and understanding of SEO, including keyword research, meta-data, link building, and best practices 
  • Understanding of HTML & CSS, UX, simple web design 
  • B2B or ABM marketing
