We are seeking a Content Writer/Copywriter to assist with content development and delivery across our product line. This position will report to the Senior Director of Communications and Content in the Brand, Insights & Design team. In this role, you will translate the brand into a variety of short- and long-form content to help our customers take control of their financial future today. This will include working with team members in channel, product, communications, digital, creative, and analytics, as well as aligning all messaging with our brand voice and guidelines.

The right candidate will be an artful storyteller with the ability to own content end-to-end. In this role, you will be successful if you love writing and storytelling, have a deep understanding of how to effectively translate a brand voice, and have experience writing across a variety of digital channels.

What You Will Do

· Produce consistent, high-quality digital content, including blog posts, web pages, newsletters, emails, social posts, and video scripts

· Help drive content through a multi-step approval with internal stakeholders such as compliance, legal, internal experts, SMEs, etc.

· Coordinate with communications team to ensure customer experience is seamless across products and channels

· Copyedit content produced by other team members

· Working with internal and external partners to develop engaging and immersive content, editing and proofreading customer communication materials, and collaborating with designers, PR and other professionals on large- and small- scale projects.

Who You Are

· Bachelor’s Degree – English, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, PR (preferred)

· 4+ years’ experience in copywriting, content strategy and development, or digital marketing in Finance, Technology, or a highly-regulated industry experience (preferred)

· Strong understanding of financial services and experience creating digital content for a financial platform

· Ability to simplify complex concepts into compelling narratives across multiple channels

· Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

· Experience in coordinating and controlling concurrent projects and deadlines

· Flexibility to adapt to evolving needs and priorities

· Experience working with a variety of stakeholders and working cross-functionally

· Exceptional attention to detail

· Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

· Copyediting experience with documented standards including brand guidelines, style, voice, and tone
